BYOGRAPHY
OBS born in late 2001. During the gestation period were Kio members on vocals, Aleia on bass, Leo Saran and Gaby Nacho guitars and batteries.
The first presentation was a year after the formation and found the following presentations sharing the stage in the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires with many bands today are under Argentine rock.
The first demo, 2003, allowing them to reach the semifinals of "Hold Buenos Aires 2003" and finalists of "El Nacional 2", organized by Under Project, Sprite and MuchMusic.
Time of change I.
For personal reasons, in late 2004 Juan Kio Bela left the band and joined in the voice. It was a difficult change for the band. We had to modify existing songs for the new vocal and touch the attitudes of each song and its lyrics to be sung by a woman.
With this new line-edited in September 2005 two single entitled "Contradictions" and "Illusions", recorded by Alejandro Ortiz (Decenadores / Mut) in studies "Space," which were presented at the first date of Binaural Fest with King Momo and Timmy O 'Tool. In May of the following year the EP "Original Version" edit post 6 songs produced by Nelson Pombal (The 25 / Yulie Ruth), including "For Me" and "Sinking Illusions".
In 2008, the band won in the category "metal" in the competition organized by Pepsi, prize materialized in the day of Pepsi Music headed by Nine Inch Nails.
Materializing identity.
From September of that year and for several months OBS devotes himself to shape the 14 songs that will be part of his album "Forever". This process was carried out again in the hands of Nelson Pombal production and OBS together, including several days in the studio recording "The Birds" in Lujan. And it is in July 2009 when definitely comes out the first LP of the band, which includes "Obsession" and "Forever", which can be downloaded free from the website of the band.
Time of change II.
After the presentation of Forever and for various reasons (personal courses, professional and artistic), the band suffered the departure of two members, Aleia and Leo Saran.
After their departure, Mark and Leo proposes new guitarist, and after several tests and shows together, instead consolidates and becomes final part of the band.
Aleia output was different. There was not a nominee and needed to face a process of search and selection of bassist. This was to be summoned several bassists to test and try to find the chemistry needed to elect a new member.
After several months the band had two strong candidates on which to choose. Finally, Jotz was who occupied the place.
Today.
With so many radicals and supported by the constant search for challenges changes, a new beginning OBS faced with tasks such as shape their identity and build group cohesion.
Of that process and prolonging confinement in a study using new personalities involved, OBS gave life to his latest work, Ecos.
Changes III. The last change. (Until now)
In mid-2014 Nacho decides to leave the band for personal reasons.
Far from any internal conflict, Nacho continues to support the band and us to him in his endeavors.
With this news and almost finished the new album, the group meets face a search in the shortest possible time searching among candidates from the same environment.
Likewise, after several trials with different guitarists, there were two perfect candidates for the job.
John Ramljak is now the new guitarist. With considerable experience in stages and a large personal requirement, it gives the band a great deal of sound and personality.
The goal now is to enjoy the work, continue to create and return with renewed air activity in Buenos Aires under scene.
